Why would Photoshop recognize all the others and not these few?

What are the font file types, ttf(true type font), otf(open type)? If so it should work, if not then photoshop may not recognise them, although i've never had the problem so I can't say for sure.
Besides that I don't really see why they won't work, if you haven't already tried, try giving your PC a reboot.

Artista and Any Color 12 are in my Control Panel and work in Word but they are not on the Photoshop drop down menu.
What gives, I would sure like to use them in PhotoShop.

Decal images must be of a far better quality.
I'm not worried about file space. When I fill up this Computer it will be time for a 5G memory with a terrabyte Hard Drive.

Let me have a look at the CMYK setting.
Seems like when I was in there last night and chose the CMYK setting it printed a light gray background over the whole page around my image.

Second thing, when you are making something that you wish to print, work with CMYK colour mode, not RGB. RGB is used for digital devices. So printing with RGB could give you different colours than what you seen on-screen.

Everything I can do on the Computer is self taught.
That's why I'm 1% capable and 99% incapable.
I wasn't going to buy a Computer until they were so advanced that all I would have to do is walk into the room and say,"Hey Computer".

Anyway I'm decent at creating Decals for Customizing Diecast but it's Computer Settings and interfacing hardware that is a little hard for me.

I'm using an Epson CX6400 Printer.
My monitor is a flatscreen HPv15.
I'm using PhotoShop 6.

The best and brightest Blue that I can pick from my Color Picker is 0033FF.
Trouble is when I print it's rather dull, lifeless and dark. Highlights, DropShadow and all those features enhance the image but it's the base color that needs pizazz.
All my images are created at 600dpi.
I want a beautiful Turquoise Blue for my chosen color. Envision the costume Superman wears.
If I use straight Cyan it is too light when I print.

If I Edit>Color Settings in PS6 and change my Working Spaces RGB to "Monitor RGB, HPv15 flat panel monitor" from "sRGB IEC61966-2.1" my open image will change from the dull lifeless Blue to a beautiful Turquoise Blue. Exactly the color I desire.
However, is this just the Monitor Display setting that is being altered or tapped into?

Are there downloadable color pickers or palettes that I can pull down from the web and choose colors from?
I have tried every Blue in my Color Picker, even slightly altered codes to no avail.

Is there a way to make my printer print this brighter, fuller color?
Even with these settings changed the code for the brighter blue is the same, 0033FF.

Thanks,

I've got a copy of CS8 but I'm a little wary of uninstalling PS6 while I'm in the middle of several projects.
Anything higher than PS6 has a much larger selection of free downloadable styles and other goodies.
