Another friend tried it, but the dog image she ended up with was too small and when I stretched it over the card, it got REALLY pixilated.

Try this...using your magnetic lasso tool, outline the dog. Use alot of anchor stops to keep the lasso as close to where you want it as possible.

I\'ll fire up photoshop in a minute (morning caffeine level is dangerously low and that must be fixed first) Give me a few minutes, and I\'ll give it a go to show you what I mean.

What I can do, is drop the image I want onto the template and stretch it out. Even over the text of the card.

And what I'd like is for the image of the hound to meld into the upper right hand corner.

Again, here's the pic of the dog:

Am I making ANY sense?

Then open up a program such as paint and press CTRL+V and that should paste the image in there, then its jsut a matter of going file>save as and probably a .png extension to keep the colour. (the .bmp has an extremely high quality but in return you have a very large file size)
And i\'m not exactly sure what you wan\'t the picture of the dog to be blended in with; the card? if so just tae a picture like shown above in this post /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

As for how you can do it... it has to do with layer masks and quik layer masks, so I guess i should write a tutorial on that soon /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />
