"Font Problem"

Nevermind,

I was able to get the ATROX font to come up in PhotoShop by simply typing in the name of the font in the Font box at the top of the screen.

So for furture reference if a font is installed in your computer but does not show in the PhotoShop drop down menu, you might be able to make use ...

Thanks,
There are only 2 fonts past the horizontal bar and it's neither of them.
The ATROX font is only installed as a TT font.

How would I tell if the ATROX font is in the menu under a different name??

What do you mean "in a different location"??

"Font Problem"

I'm operating Windows XP 2000 and using PhotoShop 6.
Nearly all my installed fonts are usable in Photoshop but some do not appear when the program is active.
I'm able to use the ATROX font in Word but it does not appear in my Photoshop 6 menu.
ATROX is a True Type font as are most of my installed ...

The Fonts were all installed months ago.
They are all ttf.
Why would Photoshop recognize all the others and not these few?

Monitor Display colors VS Epson Printer Colors

Thanks,
Marko 300dpi just won't cut it.
Decal images must be of a far better quality.
I'm not worried about file space. When I fill up this Computer it will be time for a 5G memory with a terrabyte Hard Drive.

Let me have a look at the CMYK setting.
Seems like when I was in there last night and ...

Monitor Display colors VS Epson Printer Colors

Yes, it's the new guy coming back with more questions.

Everything I can do on the Computer is self taught.
That's why I'm 1% capable and 99% incapable.
I wasn't going to buy a Computer until they were so advanced that all I would have to do is walk into the room and say,"Hey Computer".

Anyway I'm ...

Thanks again Tami,
Looks like PS6 doesn't have a Custom preset for that feature in Photoshop.

"Pixels and Inches"

Thanks Tami,
Let me check that out.
I've got a copy of CS8 but I'm a little wary of uninstalling PS6 while I'm in the middle of several projects.
Anything higher than PS6 has a much larger selection of free downloadable styles and other goodies.

"Pixels and Inches"

When I sit down to create Decals in PhotoShop I make several and usually many.
Each time I go up to File to create a New canvas the window comes up in Pixels measurements.
I only work in Inches so I have to constantly first change the settings to Inches from Pixels.
Is there a way to make this New ...

Removing Backgrounds from Photographs/Images

Nicely written and easy to follow!!!!!
And, if you wish to soften the edge after you cut her out you can use the Bevel Emboss or Drop Shadow feature.

"PhotoShop Layer Question"

Different images, same principle.

Here's a target shaped image created by using the same large background circle dragged into a new blank file, over and over.
Each layer is resized (only by eye) and colored with fill.
Using the Layer>Align>Horizontal Center and Vertical Center features the circles ...

"PhotoShop Layer Question"

Thanks Nero,
BUT,
Read my post and reply again,
The whole point of creating a new layer is so you won't affect the underlying layer.

Choosing an area in layer one by using the Select>Modify>Expand feature renders it unaffected by anything you do in another layer.

I'm trying for two concentric ...
