Ok, I talked to a couple of people about this last night, mainly our one and only Ada about how it was time for to@dster to loose his lucious locks, and here it is after all the quibling Ive been going through for the last few months or so.
In reply to how some of you may ask why someone with long hair(and I mean pretty long hair) would go to skin head, I reply that this transformation has come from one that has to represent the personal changes within, to an external view. Im not going to go into the things that have made this come about, all you need to know is that this has been a big step for me, something that is very symbolic and kind of prophanic (Ada correct me on the spelling, you allways do in chat). Ive had long hair for 7 years and its time to move on, in the same way its time to move on in life which Im sure alot of you can understand.
So please, it might only seem like someone getting their hair cut, but I cant explain to you what this whole experience has meant to me, kind of a purification in some ways, but remember that for some simple things like long hair can mean a kind of defence, or way of hiding away from things, and the symbolism of getting my hair cut is a way of breaking free from that and becoming naked to the things ive been hiding and feeling.
I know this sounds stupid but if youve ever read the books about "Dune" by Frank herbert, or seen the movie by the same name you wil know that there is one sentance "The sleeper must awake", is very important. Thats how I feel, only the sleeper was awake, then went into hibernating, and has now woken up again.
For everyone else who dosent know what Im on about, enjoy the pics of me getting my head skined!

Dont grow it out, get it skinned! And then watch Romper Stomper and listen to the song about skin heads (no, Im not a neo nazi, but I do find the song about skin heads very funny cus of the way its so over exagerated)

I know you've been on about this for some timeand I know how changing this is to you (which is why I watched you get it shaved). Plus, with all the pressure my brother and D puts on people to get their head shaved it's supprising I haven't followed the same path as youreself ha-ha!.

The desks we have just varies on what class I'm in, really.
