Third Banner Competition
well this was a little difficult. i had plenty of 'horror' ideas, each more elaborate and stunning than the last, but unfortunately lacked the skills and patience to make them. so instead i went for something which i hope is a little more subtle in terms of horror. i thought of phobias, a common one being spiders.
for those of you who may be interested, in keeping with the horrific theme, the background text of the image is taken from a passage in the the Necronomicon (book of the dead).....i had intended to add some demon seals but this just made the image too cluttered in the end.
so anyways, heres my first attempt at the banner competition, and you know what?
