oh and i just realised...........
when we look on download.com at the most popular games downloaded its more than likely that the developer is someone like ourselves.
let me try and explain with minimal paragraphs:S!
rift and i are trying to sell our program through download.com, now, if we were selling a game we would be more than happy to sell several copies of the game for less just so that it gets some pulicity - heck, we'd even set it up for free and offer discounts to users at the cafe who wanted the game at home.
maybe its worth a shot, i know there are bound to be others like us trying to get their stuff "out there" and will probably jump at the chance.
approaching these people and wording it right is up to ada though lol, id no doubt put both my feet in it!
lemme know what you think and i can have a look at those downloadable games that are popular and might be worth writing to.

[b][i][color=\"gray\"][font=\"tahoma\"]Just a thought, how will you be monitoring what people look at, like... keeping the sickos and that out of there and stuff. And on that same line i would suggest when someone goes in to use it maybe get a few basic details (name and what not) and then log what computer they were on and what times they used it. So if what they were using it for was in question you could look back on those times and see what was indeed happening. And also that would work the other way around too, if you were to find something was looked at on a particular PC at a certain time, you could trace it back to who was using it at the time (im not sure on what privacy laws will allow in this, but ive just been brainstorming with my coffee and sandwich for a while and thought i would punch a few more ideas into here /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />) [/b][/i][/color][/font]

We will be using a management software, we just don't know which one yet, the choices so are are in that post with all the links way back ^ there somewhere. As for chatting, yes we will have messenger, don't know about yahoo because I personally hate it lmao...as for mIRC, it's the most popular chat client out there; perhaps we can use a modified version which can't be modified? Not being a scripter, I don't know if that's even possible. Good idea on the downloads.com, Nem if you want to research that, it'd be a huge help. I also have a rather large supply of other similar type sites if you want them /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> The Java engine will be up to date, so people will be able to use various java chats at different places as well, including our own.

uhh huh.. I have no time to read everyones replies lol.. Anyway, I'm assuming KillaCafe is going to have a lot of Killing games (ones that I truely hate lol) lots of shooters and stuff.. I figured since there might be some people who don't like them types of games add RollerCoaster Tycoon 3.. Well what DO you want in it? I know you want the ability to connect to IRC Networks lol /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> but what else? Me and Rift.. or me.. or just rift or something like that.. bath.. whomever could try and make one.

Connect to servers, chat, colours, some ops options, no logging, channels list...just basic stuff, not all the extras, no script editor, whispers, status window...you know....basic stuff /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> sheesh learn to understand gemini or sumfin /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />
