Holland Animation Film Festival 2008

The Holland Animation Film Festival organizes three different competitions. For each competition is a separate entry form available on the site. Fifty-two animated independent short films compete in the competition for independent animation. Deadline for entries is July 15, 2008. A Grand Prix will be appointed in the narrative section as well in the non-narrative section of this competition. Go to www.haff.nl for details.
For applied animated films, in the categories publicity and promotional films, music videos (pop promos), educational and information films, station calls and film leaders the festival organizes the competition for applied animation. Deadline for entries is July 15, 2008. Read also the regulations. The competition for student films is open for student films made in The Netherlands and Belgium only, at art schools, film schools and comparable institutions. The call for entries will be sent early June. Deadline for entries is August 1, 2008.
