I made this website for my portfolio. Its not much, just some simple CSS but i could really use some oppinions on how to make it better /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' /> I have plenty of room to add things to it.

Hey Joe
I really like that header image - very pretty. I also like the simplicity and unclutteredness of the site - imo that makes for a much more professional portfolio site. There are, however, some grammatical errors. I can point them out to you if you want /biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

Wouldn't we all /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />
I agree with Tami, the header image is very neat and the over all layout of the site is quite nice. /good.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(Y)\' />

It looks very nice. Make sure you eventually get your portfolio to match the rest of your website. Most people will expect to have the same layout used throughout the entire website -- if not it looks like they're navigating away from your website when they really aren't. I like the color scheme you chose. /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

Check on Secunia for any vulnerabilities on any server side scripts you use and make sure that they are kept up to date.
Make your email address an image. Bots can't read them if they are on an image. The image can be transparent background to match the site, and no one will really know it's just an image, but you'll get less spam that way if you insist on putting your email address on your site. It would be better if you took the extra time to make a contact page with a spam catcher, otherwise you will get flooded with spammy badness.
