Just a short story I was writing during school today, don't know if it's really long enough to be a story though.

The brakes screamed as the tires rolled to a stop. The headlights extinguised, and the motor ground to a stop. The drivers door on the half-rusted, used to be green Ford Explorer opened and she stepped out. She had medium brown hair that snaked its way off her head, down her neck and stopped just below her shoulders. Blue-grey eyes that were deep as space stared straight ahead as her hands straightened the black suit she was wearing.
With fall leaves being smashed and crunching beneath her every step, she confidently strode towards the front door of the house infront of her. The thick morning fog parting more with each step she took. The vine encased house appeared ancient with its stone walls and large aged oak door that protected the entrance. Roughly carved into the door three fourths of the way up, but still over her head, was a short warning written in latin. Eternal hell for all who enter. Perplexed, she lifted the bronze knocker with both hands and let it come crashing down. The resulting explosion resonated throughout the entire house, and the door creaked open six inches towards her.
Cautiously, she peered inside, only to see a black emptiness and a bright white ball suspended in the room. Looking was her mistake. Her soul was pulled out of her body like a spoon cutting down a redwood tree. There was not a sound from her; just a soft thump as her soulless body hit the ground. The large oak door slowly closed. Seconds later, she got up, walked to her car and left, never to remember the incident or return. Her soul eternally trapped in the white ball, inside the house...forever[/quote]
