That banner was a total fluke, Tidus. Next to what exile, Bindy and the other real graphix guys can do, it's not really all that good, but thank you for the compliment /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Vercz... Text is a lil hard to see, and try to minimilise your background a bit and add a few more techy elements and your on your way. I'd also try to work with a higher resolution to give yourself a bit more room to work. /bigwink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

lol, thanks for the comments Bindy but I didn't really put any effort into this and couldn't settle on a nice font so I went with that (ugly looking) pixel font. All the parts I used in that banner were taken from my other works /whistle.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='(whistle)' />

I LOVE IT, very awsome work exile.... im working on one now.. i have to wait till i get bryce back b4 i can do some new stuff /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Nice work Dave. I like the colour scheme of it mang.
And soz Tam, i was just cruising on these guys and missed the frontpage.
I like the feel to your work, nice and dark & brooding, sort of like an alien feel to it!
The only real lack in the peice is maybe just a lil techy bitmapping, and maybe if you choose a matching colour blend for the text instead of keeping it that clolour would bring it out a lil and give the peice a fresh new look to it.
Since i've joined here, you of all people have jumped in leaps and bounds girl. /bigwink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

The only real advice i can give to you all is ...
1. Take a lil more time with things and never rush a peice... [It'll show in the end.]
2. Plan out what in the composition you want to achieve beforehand... [It saves a hell of alot of time.]
3. Stay away from filters... [They just look plain crap.]
4. Enjoy making the peice and have fun doing it... [If you hate the idea... you'll hate your work.]
5. If you don't know how to use a program?... Just keep using it... [You'll get the hang of it after a while.]
