Mobes has asked permission to start a motorsports section full of racing news. I told him I\'d think about it, but would like to see more participation in the graphix, coding, programming and game development areas, which is what this forum is supposed to focus on. He feels that we should offer more to other people to get the membership, personally I feel that this would take some of the focus on what we\'re trying to achieve with the skills sections. Anyone else have an opinion on this?

I agree..its actually not even close to what this forum is out to portray, or links with the philosphy..do we really want members just joining for our motorsports section?

I'd have to agree, I think that motorsports is a little of topic, and I think that time invested in motorsports would be time otherwise spent working on graphics, coding etc.

Yeah, i dunno what goes on in that #mp3 channel because i dont go there..Im hoping this isnt just a cry for somewhere else to get lots of posts, im also hoping ruff and mobes posting sprees arnt just for the post count, but at least they are posting articles; but no i disagree; sure it would attract more people...more car enthusiasts and could possibly overrun the graphics and coding scene

Yeh I was thinkin mobes and ruff were in a post war or something. And like scott said, if they really wanted to they could just post in speakeasy.
