Ive been missing class for a good reason Miss Ada! Honest!
Well, as you all know i had been waiting for two months for these puppies to be born. They arrived saturday the 11th Dc from 8pm till 5am the next morning ---- all eight of them! Unfortunately the two smallest runts died on wednesday morning despite all the bottle feeding Rift and i had been doing. I now have a shirt covered in goats milk and spit up from these pups lol. So we now have four boys and two girls. Momma is doing well and gradually gaining back her weight. We are still helping feed the pups and the smallest one so thats why you havent seen me in a while. I have been checking the forum and keeping up to date on the latest news and ideas, i just havent had a spare minute or the brain cells to reply. i'm still pretty tired, but now that the six remaining pups have reached the grand old age of one week old i should be able to spend more time on the forum - just depends how much care momma takes of them!
Ive included some pictures for you and will post some more when they open their eyes probably. At which point i will need someone to priority ship me some prozac to cope with six puppies trying to destroy everything in site and peeing everywhere they shouldnt. Oh well lol.

Wait until they get older and you have them all running around, that's the time you'll really need to be taking time care of them, yourself and cleaning up the mess they leave around and when they start get their teeth coming through enjoy watching them start to bite you with their pin like teeth.. Knows from experience as my father has bred several litters but it was a dog of a different breed.

And they wont be getting into to much, i've invested in a puppy play pen thats designed to keep rottweiler puppies in and puppy teeth proof. Soon as their eyes are open and they start to wriggle out of the whelping box they'll be in there. Three weeks after that, fingers crossed they'll be gone - but definitley not given away! I'll figure out which one is the drunk crazy one vercz and post the image for you. If you think i have my hands full with little sausage dogs Ruff, imagine what it'll be like when i breed this monster
Oh. and i'm more worried about sharp little nails than teeth!

Well as ada so neatly pointed out, i've been on a hiatus of sorts.
i do take breeding (and selling) the dogs i own seriously as it is a form of income for us - not steady, but for me i'm able to stay at home, manage my own time and not have to drag myself out of bed quite as early as rift every morning. that said, i have for the last two weeks had more time on my hands than i've actually spent online.....it hasnt just been KG that i havent visited, ive just checked my emails and left it at that.
so yes, i have been using this as an excuse to not open photoshop, bryce or c4d. i'm very eager to learn about all the "stuff" i can do blah blah but it has been a little daunting after not opening for them for so long. strange i know.
anyway, i've added some stuff i did before the pups were born to the forensics lab and will be entering into the banner comp this week.
my next litter is due the first week of march so hopefully i wont have the same problems getting involved here afterwards again.
there's been a lot going on since i've been away so give me some time to catch up on it all.
