After reading [url=\"http://itvibe.com/news/3190/\"]this news article[/url] it lead me to the curiosity of what age (if applicable) got their first cellphone.

I was 11, though that was just using and having my parents older ones to ring home when i went away, i was 12 when i brought my first one and ive had 5 since then.

[b][i][color=\"gray\"][font=\"tahoma\"]I got mine when i was 14, and i bought it with my own money too. My dad refused to buy me one because of a recent incident (at the time) where i made a prank call to a kids parents with a cell phone saying he was caught smoking illicit substances in the school toilet cubicles. He refused to buy me one so i saved my money and bought it myself when i was 14 yrs old. I've kept the same phone up till my age now (17) and i only recently (within the past few weeks) inherited my dads old Nokia 3315. My old phone was a Nokia with a 64mb MP3 player in it, and it had the full keyboard on it for SMS and TXT msg's, but still took incoming and outgoing calls with a little speaker up the top. The phone has treated me well for 3 or so years, but it's still time for an upgrade. [/b][/i][/color][/font]

A job /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> After having 2 motorolas, 1 philips and 2 nokias, i prefere nokias the most; more so after using friends who dont have nokias. My last was a nokia 3315 on vodafone, untill i made the sim inaccessible, so i bumped over to telecom and got a 3105, ive only had it for just under a year and its killing me that i havnt got a new one yet, s if only the one i wanted was on telecom /cry.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />

They don't hire at 15 over here and my parents are preventing me from getting a job /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> So I am basically SOL /biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' /> rofl /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />
