Turn your weblog into a book!

Blogbinders.com helps you turn your blog into a bound book - great as a gift, an archive, or even to sell to your readers!

It is quick, easy, and affordable to turn your blog into a printed book. All it takes is a few easy steps:

* Provide information about your blog account
* Select styles, cover/back and customizations
* Review automatically generated proof

It\'s that simple! In under a week, your book will arrive.

How it Works
How does Blogbinders work, anyhow?

Turning your blog into a printed book is easy with the help of Blogbinders!

One. First, you provide some information about your blog account and an automated program downloads your blog content. Blogbinders application strips out any images and HTML formatting at this point, so you are left with the basic written text from your blog entries. Subjects, dates and carriage returns are maintained. Note that you can download content from different time periods, private or public entries (or both), and from different blog sites. Each retrieval is stored separately, and you can name them for later reference when making your book.

Two. Once your content is downloaded, you are all ready to create a book. This can be done with either the Make a Book wizard (or from the My Account > Manage Books page if you are an experienced user). Creating a new book is as simple as a single click, and then you can customize a variety of options from cover to type style before printing.

First you will want to select which content goes into your book (if using the Make a Book Wizard you will be using the content you just uploaded). Next you can customize your book in four different ways: Size/Binding, Cover, Font Styles, and Title/Author/Intro/Epilogue text.

Size and binding You select a size for your book, choosing from sizes ranging from dime-store paperback all the way to US letter. You can also select one of three binding styles: Wire-O, Saddle-Stitch and Perfect Binding.

Cover A basic cover design tool is provided for you on Blogbinders where you can select a color for the cover and title text, write cover copy, and put a small image on the the back cover of your book and add a synopsis for the back. If you are interested in completely designing your own cover, You can upload artwork of your own for the front cover. Be sure to read our cover art guidelines before uploading your pictures for best results and realize you must include your own text in your image.

Style You can pick from a number of pre-defined type styles for your book.

Title /Intro allows you to enter an author name, cover title, and enter a free form introduction and epilogue (closing) for your book. These can be any length, and are inserted into your book automatically.

Three. Generate your proof and the Blogbinders system will build a PDF file of your book exactly as it will be printed. All the cool stuff like page numbers, page headers, section dividers, a colophon, your introduction and epilogue, and even a table of contents will be added automatically! Once you\'ve reviewed your proof, you can continue to make changes and review more, or you can approve and order the book.

When you approve your proof, our staff will review your book briefly, to catch any obvious problems, and set it up for printing in our system. You will receive an email within 24 hours of approving your book with a link to complete your purchase. You can buy as many copies of your book as you want. You can also use the link sent to you to order additional copies of your book in the future. Hey - you can even add it to your web site or blog and let your friends and readers buy your book from it! In the future, Blogbinders will be adding a re-seller program that lets you earn a royalty each time your book sells!
