All i want it to do is get the status of the files and when you close the window it would clear it.. so they dont reappear when you reopen it /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> if that makes sence... /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

I'm 100% certain that such a thing could be incorporated into a messenger client.... however, to incorporate it right into the GUI of MSN's client I'm not sure....Alex is pretty knowledgable about messenger and might be able to give you a more concrete answer.

it can be put into the GUI, as shown in the image messenger plus has a sidebar by the text box, how to do this however im totally unsure about, lol

dont give away to much info tho.... dont want people stealing the idea, and like josh said this could bring alot of traffic to KN/person who makes it.

cause hes very protective of his source, its probably API, lol

Ask him to make a simple tutorial which can get people who are looking into implenting things into the GUI start making their own simple things.... Tell him all it has to be is just implent an image of a smiley face or something.. He wouldn't have to give us the full source of how he did all that stuff.

you gunna pay him cause there is no such thing as a simple tutorial when plugging into msn is concerned... lol

anyway, considering patchou is the only msn developer who has EVER worked out how to hook into the GUI hes not gunna give that out because otherwise people will create things the same as messenger plus... ive asked him before about it and he says its totally closed source, eg nothing leaves his workstation and to be hounest i dont blame the guy, its taken him near enough 4 years to get to where he is, if i were him i wouldnt want to drop all that hard work for other people to rain on my territory, lol

well as soon as i get my tutorial written ill be sure to give an example of how to hook into messenger instead of just mirc, as ive done it to remove the banner ad on the main dialog, that way we can all have a wack at making things for (M)/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />
