In regards to this morning\'s little flood fest -
1. As staff, you are expected to behave as such and in a responsible manner
2. Flooding is not permitted in the KillaGraphix channel.
3. Do not over-ride the actions of a KillaNet Admin. If a person is devoiced/banned for whatever reason by an Admin, do not immediately voice/unban them.
4. Supposed drunkenness is not an excuse. If you are intoxicated, de-op yourself. However, you are still expected to act as a representative of KillaNet.
You may say \"what does it matter\" it\'s all regulars in the channel. This will change in the future as the network becomes more active. That channel will be the first line of chat interaction that many new people may have with KillaNet, and I expect the staff to behave accordingly. It is much easier to act in a professional manner now than to have to drop bad habits later.

i'm not to sure what is and isnt allowed in that room...i just go with the "g" rating and if something seems outta line and there are no other staff around then i say something. however, every single time this is challenged. elly tried to tell me that if the software on chanserv or something didnt pick it up and stop it then he could say "ba------rd" then jtg, when not happy with how "clean" the chat has to be tries to get the room rating changed ...is there a list or statement somewhere i can copy and paste to people and leave it at that? its very rare i have to say anything as most of you around-which is good seeing as you actually know how to use mirc lol.
anyway, something i could paste into the room would be handy - if only so i know the do's and dont's

Remind them that \'G-rating\' is the equivilent to the content that is displayed on such things as Pokemon cartoons... if Elly insists on challenging the issue, exert your authority as a room host (or network staff) and remove his voice. If the room starts to cause trouble because of this, PM one of the admins and make sure you are logging the room. Remind them that if they have a problem with the enforcement of a rule, they are free to come see one of us.
If Elly presses the issue again, PM or IM me (if I\'m online) and I\'ll \"have a chat with him\" about it. <img src=\'

As for the flooding, it\'s essentially anything that monopolizes the entire window... massive scrolling of random text, ascii pictures, or posting of 30+ lines of text at once without a \"ooops\" following it. We all make mistakes and forget to clear our clipboard sometimes, but that\'s why mIRC now warns for more than 10 lines being pasted.
If they are testing, they can make their own room... if they are intentionally violating the rules repeatedly, they can chat elsewhere.
(Can anyone guess who\'s in a bad mood this morning?)
