She kindly accepted. So here is the Blurb and when I finish reading the book, shouldn't be anymore than 2-3 days, I will post my review <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
It is the middle of the summer, but there is an unseasonal mist pressing against the windowpanes. Harry Potter is waiting nervously in his bedroom at the Dursleys' house in Privet Drive for a visit from Professor Dumbledore himself. One of the last times he saw the Headmaster was in a fierce one-to-one duel with Lord Voldemort, and Harry can't quite believe that Professor Dumbledore will actually appear at the Dursleys' of all places. Why is the Professor coming to visit him now? What is it that cannot wait until Harry returns to Hogwarts in a few weeks' time? Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry has already got off to an unusual start, as the worlds of Muggle and magic start to instertwine ...
One of the better books, but I thought the ending was a little hasty after the main story had finished. Almost as if she ran out of time... But I was suprised...

No one camped out here because they were making sure there wouldnt of been a shortage like other releases lol. I plan to read it though, although i have lost significant intrest in it, i think it would be a shame to myself if i didnt finish the series.

UK release is 18th of November...I'd assume that would be the same elsewhere.

I picked up the Harry Potter books as a reading thing for myself to get back into reading. I read them of my own accord and they were an absolute great read, all of them, have not read the last one yet, will try when i get some spare time.

As many people in Australia (and i'm sure other places) have had happen. Eventually you would have been asked to read a harry potter book and do a review on it as a school thing. Most people i've met who had to read the books under these circumstances have said they didn't like the book. I think it's just one of those "if you had to do it at school, it's no longer fun" type things. I know i didn't enjoy reading the book when i had been -told- to do it, but reading them in my own spare time is great.

And Hoax, if you havn't read the books, read them, they are infinately better than the movies in almost every way, i am not a fan of the HP movies to say the least, but a huge fan of the books. Pick up the first book in the series and read the first few pages, if all goes well, you won't be able to put the books down until you read the last ones. Trust me, i was told i'd get addicted and i thought "yeah right" ... it happened.

I've seen half a movie and called it quits, the whole idea of a kid wizard going on a 'quest' doesn't seem to appeal to me anymore. If I read the book I'm sure I'd like it more than the movie (books are awesome) but I've read enough of those types of books when I was younger so I'm kinda sick of them. <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
