Interesting that everyone raises /censored.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(cens)\' /> about this, but no one bothered to say anything when America Online began the process to patent the terms \'IM\' and \'Instant Messaging\".
Plus, since it was filed over a year and a half ago, it\'s not exactly new news, and likely at this point a petition will do nothing more than give their lawyers something good to laugh at.
