Several Suggestions

Basically, I\'ve been thinking of a few thinks relating to both the forum and its staff and ways in which we could improve them. These are only ideas, so they won\'t happen without feedback and approval.
1) All top level categories need a description. \"Special Weapons And Tactics\" doesn\'t help a newb, and places like \"The Booking Room\" have me confused.
2) The News, Suggestions & Support forum has 2 suggestions sub forums. How about 1 for KN news and another for feedback, etc.
3) The Jury Room is clearly more active than KN Projects, and the GIU is more active again. Would reordering these to put active forums at the top be a good move?
4) For the Jury Room\'s description, maybe we could include that weeks current themes. I\'m aware this would get tiresome having to edit each week, but it would grab visitors if they liked the sound of the theme.
5) The forum index is already tight for space. Would it be a bit too drastic to remove the top KG banner, leaving only the banner which won the previous week\'s contest?
6) Could Identikit and Services Interchanged be merged?
7) Gaming Development comes under KillaGaming, doesn\'t it?
8) Group some of the CodeCrypt sections together, such as HTML, CSS and JS...since all are not very active.
9) Application Development and Visual Basic forums are kind of dupes.
10) The Gangster Alley is clearly more active than the Customer forums, how about moving them above the customer ones?
11) Revised guidelines mentioning acceptable artwork content?
For the staff, how about we split them up into groups such as:
Forum & Chat - No access to \"The Hideout\"
Graphics - KG.com being their main site
Coders - KC.com being the main site
Writers - Writer\'s being the main site
Gaming - Kgam...
----
We then have Senion Staff, which I think should be Rift, David (Security Duo) and Josh (who is an admin on gaming).
Then there are the admins.
The staff have to chose which group they\'d like to belong to...this will be easier for some than for others. They will obviously be free to help out with other stuff, but they should be active on the area they pick.
If a work request comes in, it would be directed to the most appropriate group. Sometimes this may require collaboration of groups.
Those who don\'t wish to assign themselves to a group (except admins) should be Forum & Chat staff only. I believe the people who won\'t choose a group will be the least active staff, and we can then look towards building up each group with motivated staff.
Thats a lot to work on, but I think we need to start out with some changes, as the current setup isn\'t the best demonstration of KN\'s talent.
Remember these are only ideas, so feel free to shoot them in any way you see fit.
