o0.. I like this; I'd read it. Is it just going to be like a journal of CB and his disorder or is it going to have a storyline behind it with stuff happening to him? Will CB be the protagonist? *stops asking questions*

definitely a storyline behind it with stuff happening to him but also some story, of course, about how he got the disability in the first place. And yes, CB will be the protagonist.
Keep asking questions, me like questions.

CB woke up and rolled over to reach for his glasses. He put them on and discovered it was raining outside of the alley and there was just enough light to see the road. Either he had been sleeping for his usual eight hours or he had slept through the day, he couldn't tell which. His glasses were not only his most prized possession but his only possession other than his clothes. He tried to figure out what day it was but a headache sprung up and stopped his thought process. The headaches were getting worse. CB’s headaches started this year; at least he thought it was this year. He judged it to be about eight or nine years since the accident. He was driving at night under the influence and crashed into something. The last thing he remembered was his head hitting the steering wheel, but the horn didn’t sound. He woke up a few days later in hospital with a slight headache and checked himself out. Things got worse from there on. He had no money, just the same clothes as he is wearing this day. He went to the bank and stated his name, Chris Brian McCleric, but they didn’t have him on file. Maybe it was the wrong bank, he thought. He went to all the other banks he could remember but no one had him on file. He was sure he had a bank account. He tried to go home but he didn’t know where home was. He had contracted amnesia and he believed that it was from the car accident.
He walked out of the alley and turned to go towards the homeless shelter, at least he knew where that was. He did not like staying there, too many crazy people. The road was busy and that wasn’t unusual for this time of the morning. A car swerved out of the lane closest to the sidewalk, overtook the car in front of it, and swerved back into the traffic much to the annoyance of the drivers all around. CB shouted out obscenities at the driver who didn’t even look at him and watched the car drive off for a few seconds. CB turned his back on the car and then there was a loud boom. CB turned around just in time to see a car do a back flip on to another car. CB stood frozen on the spot, undecided on what to do. Should he go there and see what is happening and run the risk of another explosion or run away? He ran across the street and a taxi nearly hit him.
“Hey buddy! Get in here and lets get the hell outta here!” the driver shouted at him.
“I have no money.” CB shouted back
“I don’t care, I’m saving your life.” The taxi driver opened the passenger door.
“What happened back there?” CB asked as he stepped into the cab.
“I don’t know. I was driving around like I usually do and then all of a sudden six or seven cars back I see in my rear view mirror this one car go flying up into the air on fire.” The cab driver said frantically. The traffic was moving slowly.
“I saw something else out the corner of my eye too, man.” The cab driver was frantic. “It looked human but it was moving nearly as fast as the car, in the other direction and was misshapen. I don’t know what the hell it was but it scared me. I thought I was seeing things and then the car behind me explodes. You can’t tell me that’s a coincidence.”
“Why are we going this way?” CB asked. He knew the neighbourhood well enough to know that they were heading back towards the explosion site.
“Man, I want to see what that thing was.” The cab driver explained, looking everywhere but ahead of himself.
Something hit the cab on the right side so hard the car skidded across onto the oncoming lane. There was no traffic now but the cab driver tried to swerve back. A hand broke through the window and was beginning to pull the driver through. CB jumped back in horror as he saw the face of what was dragging the taxi driver through. He was right, it looked human but it had a long body and was extremely muscular. Its eyes were slits in its face and it’s mouth was fanged. It hissed a warning at CB and CB pushed himself against the door of the decelerating cab. The taxi driver was pulled in one big jerk right through the window. The monster jumped off the side of the car and disappeared around the corner of a building. The cab crashed into the back of a parked car and CB nearly hit his head on the dashboard. CB got out of the car. The creature did not reappear. CB wandered off into the neighbourhood, fearing what was now out there.

excellent opening, radar. Once again you've introduced a few different threads of conflict which draws the reader in, and keeps him/her reading looking for hints as to the resolution.

Took me a bloody while but here ya go:
As CB rounded a corner, a peculiar noise attracted his attention. It was a whirring noise with an intermittent squeak every second. He looked around and the sun reflected off what was causing the noise, a revolving door. CB walked through the door to find himself in an expensive looking building. Everything was shiny. It would have seemed like everyone had just got up and left, but the blood smears on the walls told otherwise. CB noticed a door open next to the elevators and saw bloody footprints on the stairs. There might be someone up there, he thought. He followed them up the stairs and turned into a long hallway with about ten doors, four on each side and one on each end. All of a sudden the wall next to him was blown apart by a shotgun. CB ran back and pressed himself against the door of the stairwell.
“Who’s there?” shouted a woman’s voice.
“Heh, I was wondering the same thing.” CB replied.
“Who are you?”
“My name’s Chris.”
“Who sent you?”
“No one.” CB said, leaning out and trying to see where the woman was. Another shot ricocheted off the stairwell pillar. “Will you stop that?!” CB shouted at the woman.
“Not until I know you’re not one of them.”
“One of whom?”
“Haven’t you seen the blood in the lobby?”
“You mean one of those creatures?”
“Yes.”
“Well, I’m talking to you now. Doesn’t that mean I’m not one of them?”
“They can change. I’ve seen them do it. Come here and let me see.”
CB walked out from his hiding spot and to the only other door open on the hall way. He saw a girl holding a shotgun, standing in the middle of the room wearing some kind of goggles on her forehead. The room’s walls were full of bullet holes.
“These are the same goggles this guy wore.” She said, pointing at a heavily armoured military-looking guy. “This is his gun. If you glow red, you’re one of them, and I put the rest of what this gun has in it, in you. If you glow green, you’re not one of them and I get to keep the bullets for a better use. Run and I shoot you. Got it?”
CB nodded and the girl dropped the goggles over her eyes. She frowned and fiddled with a switch on the side and growled.
“Stupid thing!” she said, looking down at her arm. “It’s working but you’re not showing up as either green or red.”
“So what does that mean?”
“I don’t know!” She took off the goggles and threw them at CB. “You try them.”
CB put the goggles on and looked at his own arm. It seemed normal. He looked at the girl and saw that she was glowing green.
“So how do you know what colours mean what?” CB said, taking off the goggles and throwing them back to the girl.
“When you see one of those things face to face, you’ll know.”
“Did he tell you?”
“Yeah, right after that creature dragged him in here and gutted him.” She said sarcastically.
“You were here whilst that thing was in the room? Why didn’t it eat you?”
“I don’t know, I hide very well. After it finished its meal it jumped out that window and ran that way.” She explained, pointing to the broken window. CB noticed something strange about the window, the glass was on the inside.
“Wait, why does it look like something came through that window?”
“Military patrols in their flashy chopper. Bastards nearly got me.”
Right as she finished that sentence the chopper made its return. It flew past them once and then came back and hovered, looking right at them.
“I think it’s time to leave.” The girl said, making a run for the door.
“But wait, they can rescue us!” CB said, smiling and waving his arms above his head at the chopper.
“Not today” The girl said, grabbing CB’s arm and dragging him through the door as the chopper’s guns started whirring. The chopper’s machines guns spat bullets at right where CB was a few milliseconds before. There was now a thin wall separating CB and the girl and the military chopper.
“Why the hell are they shooting at us?”
“I don’t know, lets hope that was the last of their ammo.” The girl said running for the stairs.
The chopper’s guns whirred again and shot through the wall. CB ran for his life, making it to the stairs in time.
“If we go into the basement they won’t be able to hit us. There’s at least five feet of concrete surrounding it. It used to be a bunker back in the war.” The girl shouted over the guns.
“Alright, let’s go then.”
They ran down several steps of stairs before reaching the basement. The door was sealed tight and CB found it unusual for it to be like that. The girl pushed in a section of the wall which fell off when she let go and typed in a number into the keypad. The door opened.
“I found one.” The girl shouted to seemingly nothing. People emerged from the darkness and the lights flashed on.
“Don’t move.” The girl said, holding the shotgun to CB’s head. “Do not move.”

The girl rammed the butt of the gun into the back of CB’s head, knocking him unconscious.
When he woke up he was stuck to an operating table, with five doctors surrounding him.
“He’s waking up.” One voice said.
“We’re nearly done.” Another spoke out.
“What if he…” The first said
“He won’t, there’s an extremely low possibility of that.”
“Don’t you remember the last one? I still have that scar.”
“Scars heal. This one seems to be perfect.”
CB blacked out again.
He dreamt he was one of the creatures. He broke out of his restraints and grabbed one of the doctors and threw him against the wall. He ripped the monitoring devices from his bare chest and punctured another doctor in the throat with a claw. Again, that all too familiar hit on the back of the head.
“You don’t understand. There aren’t many people left who understand how this thing works. If he does it again he might end up doing to you what he did to the others.” Said the woman holding the shotgun.
“I will try to keep him under control.” One of the three remaining doctors said.
“What’s happening to me?” CB croaked.
“Nothing. You don’t need to worry.” The woman said. CB fell asleep.
Another dream. This time it was pouring with rain. He was running across the street but he couldn’t see or remember in the dream what he was running to. He was just running somewhere. Something hit him hard from the side and broke his hip and his kneecap and threw him a few feet from the impact. He heard a car door open, a voice whisper something and then the door slamming shut. The car drove away, leaving him broken on the road.
“You don’t understand. He’s growing resistant.” This time it was another doctor, one that had not spoken before. CB was back in his restraints.
“I don’t care. Give him more.”
“If we give him more it might kill him and then we might lose our last hope.”
“Dammit!” The girl shouted. “Are you awake?” She barked at CB.
“I am now. What the hell’s going on?”
“I want you to resist it. If you feel the change coming on, resist it with all your strength. If you change” she said, holding up a shotgun shell, “I will embed this and its contents into your back, your heart and two into your head.”
“I don’t care, I have nothing to live for.” CB sighed.
“If you help us, we’ll help you.”
“How?”
An explosion blew open the entry door. Military personnel flooded the basement.
“Do not move. Do not move. We have orders shoot to kill.”
“What a coincidence.” The girl yelled at the soldiers, firing off a few shots before ducking behind a table. “Get him out of here! Go to the lower levels, you know the way.”
“But…” the doctor said.
“No buts about it, go!” the woman said. The doctor was shot in the chest and arm.
“For god’s sake. I’ll do it myself.” The woman said over the chaos. She grabbed one of the surgical instruments and threw it skillfully at a wall panel. The circuit hidden underneath shorted out and a concealed door opened. She pushed CB towards the door and ran backwards, firing at the military. She took the instrument out of the wall panel and the doors slid shut.
“I’m Lyn.” The girl said.
“CB.”
“What’s that stand for?”
“Chris Brian. Parents couldn’t decide. What’s wrong with me?”
“A few years ago you were one of our test subjects. We said we were testing a cancer vaccine on you. We lied. We first injected you with the virus, and then the antidote, but only after we saw what the virus did first. The antidote should make the virus die. In some extreme cases, like yourself, it just lay dormant.” Lyn explained.
“Why a virus? What was it supposed to do to me?”
“The idea was that we could make super soldiers. These so called ‘creatures’ are, or were at one stage, human. They do everything faster. Think, run and communicate. That’s what makes them so deadly.”
“So why are the military after you? Shouldn’t they be helping you?”
“They once funded the project. They thought we were making a product like steroids but without all those nasty reactions. We lied to them too. Once they found out that some of our other test subjects escaped they decided it was time to, in their words, ‘terminate the contract’.”
“By the looks of things they want to terminate more than the contract. So you said I was injected a few years ago. Why has it sprung up this year? Why not the one previous? Why not some year 10 down the track?”
“You said you saw one of those creatures. When you see one of them, your brain reacts. It’s basically a territorial thing. The virus, or whatever it is now, decided that this other creature was infringing on your territory. It lay dormant, but now it’s been awoken. Once awoken, it will slowly take over your system until there is only a complete dominance.”
“It didn’t attack me.”
“That’s right, chances are it saw you as a friend, not a foe. Did it scream or howl at you?”
“Yes.”
“We believe that is their form of communication.”
The elevator dinged.
“Here we are.” Lyn said.
“Where’s here?” CB asked.
“You don’t want to know.”
There was a scream from up the tunnel.
“Please… no, NO!” a voice screamed out. A creature growled.
Lyn had stepped forward in front of the bed CB was laying on.
“I think we shouldn’t have gone this way.” She said, turning around to find that CB had disappeared.

Lyn scoured the tunnel for CB but couldn't find him. She clung to the shotgun like a lifeline whilst not taking her finger off the trigger. The growls had stopped and the tunnel was lit dimly with bulbs every few metres. She heard scuffling behind her and a blunt object was hit across her skull.
Earlier on, CB was strapped to the bed with Lyn in front. A creature growled up ahead. CB saw something on the roof and before he could focus on it he was lifted out of the straps and onto the roof.
"We shouldn't have gone this way." Lyn said.
CB thought about shouting out but he had a weird thought in his head telling him it wasn't a good idea.
He saw Lyn look right at him for a few seconds, then she ran up the tunnel.
Again that feeling of shouting out but being blocked by the thought of having a bad idea. What was causing it?
The creature scuttled across the roof and dropped down just behind Lyn. The creature was wearing a backpack. The creature grabbed a rock from the pack and hit Lyn with it. Lyn's unconcious body dangled from the creature's left arm and CB from the right. A feeling of calm swept over his fear. The creature stopped again and dropped both of its captives onto the ground. The creature dug around in its pack for a while and pulled out two small capsules. The creature levered CB's mouth open with two enormous fingers and popped the pill down his throat. He closed the mouth and held CBs nose until he swallowed.
"Glash nikraf?" the creature said.
"What?" CB replied.
"You understand?" the creature said in broken english.
"Yes. But how?"
"Medical research. Must continue walk."
The creature picked up CB and Lyn and continued walking about two hundred meters and dropped them both again.
"We are here." the creature proudly stated.
"Where is here?"
"Home."
The creature shouted out something and a wall moved to the right and opened up.
"Hello you." Another creature greeted CB and the other creature. "I am Irk, welcome. I see you have met Ynx, our greatest Warrior."
The creature picked up Lyn and let CB walk freely into the large extension through the wall and the wall closed in behind them. The smallish area was lit by several candles and a fireplace. It was laid out like a human home would be.
"Rea!" Irk shouted. "Kaj has returned with the one-that-is-two."
Yet another creature stepped out from a side room and glanced over at Lyn, then CB.
"The one-that-is-two! Pleasure to meet you." The woman creature named Rea said.
"I have a lot of questions." CB said. "I want answers."
"Indeed, we have time now." Kaj said. "Sit and we will answer all questions asked by you."
"Alright." CB said, taking a seat next to Rea who smiled at him.
"First of all, what do you call yourselves?"
"We are the Dempos." Kaj quickly replied.
"Where did you come from?"
"Our ancestors say we have been living on this planet longer than you. We live down here in subterrain because of age old conflict between your kind and ours."
"What do you mean?"
"Eons ago your kind and our kind lived in harmony. We shared technologies, secrets, food and even houses. Until one day one rose up from your kind and said we were a sub-species and that we must be eradicated! We fled to underground to escape. Until this day we have been living down here."
"Why is there no record of you?"
"The great human I speak of removed all traces of our culture from the above-world, save for that which he wished to adopt into mankind's culture."
"Why do you call me 'the-one-that-is-two'?" CB asked.
"Simply because you are. Your friend here" Kaj said, motioning at the unconcious Lyn, "injected you with a piece of our medical research that fell into mankinds hands. It allows you to change at will, or not so, between being them and us. You are one being that is two."
"What do you intend to do to us? To all humans?"
"As whole, we undecided. We wish to live along side humans but you have your kind flying round in those big metal things with sharp blades."
"You mean helicopters?"
"I not know what they called, I just know they hurt my friends and family when they shoot burning metal at them."
"Bullets." CB muttered. "So what about us?"
"We are going to keep you here until commanders decide what to do. Some of us may try to kill you. All of us in this room will protect you from bad Dempos."
Lyn came to and backed up against the wall.
"Stay back!" she shouted at the Dempos.
"I think she needs that thing you gave to me." CB said to Kaj.
"I will give it to her now. I will calm her down." Kaj said.
"No, let me give it to her and let her take it on her own."
"Very well." Kaj said, handing CB a capsule.
"Lyn, take this. I know you're scared right now but I'm OK. These creatures, as scary as they may seem, are actually our friends. It's your choice. A capsule excactly like this allowed me to communicate with them." CB said holding out the pill.
Lyn hesitantly took the pill from CB and popped it into her mouth.
"Glash nikraf?" Kaj said.
"What?" Lyn said.
"You understand?" Kaj said again. CB smiled at this because it happened to him.
"Yes, I do now. Wow, how does this thing work?"
"Well..." Kaj began to explain. An explosion came from outside of the door, shaking the walls. The earth rumbled for a few seconds before finally coming back to calm.
"They are here." Kaj said.

The door blew open. Soldiers rushed in. Kaj screamed and ran into a bunch of them, knocking them down before digging his fingers into their chests. A few soldiers fired at him but he was unstoppable; a killing machine. A few more soldiers tried shooting at him, and again and again Kaj kept cutting them down. He eventually fought them back to the door. He picked up something from a shelf on the side of the door and pulled something out of it. CB recognised it as a grenade.
"Get down!" shouted Kaj.
Another explosion rocked the cave, rubble fell from the roof and then it was silent.
"Who's still with me?" Kaj asked.
"I am." said CB and Lyn together.
"Good, we must move now. No time must be wasted. They are here. Irk! Take these two back to the surface at the other end. Go now. I'll hold them as much as I can." Kaj said.
"Follow me. You fall behind, you stay there. Farewall, Kaj" Irk said.
Irk ran extremely quickly and CB and Lyn found it hard to keep up. Another explosion this time. The soldiers had blown through the rubble. They heard gunshots and Kaj's warcry and that only made them run faster.
"It is this way." Irk said over the noise.
They eventually made it to the surface, the sun had risen again and they had to squint to see properly against its bright light.
"I must leave you. There are many of your people to fight. I do not wish to cause them harm, but they leave me no choice. Travel east to the tallest tower. Kaj and I will meet you there. Goodbye for now." Irk said, running back into the cave.
"Which way is the tower?" Lyn asked.
CB looked around for a landmark, a building he could recognise, or even the tower.
"I think he means that building." said CB, pointing to a large building that towered over the city.
"It's worth a shot." Lyn said.
They walked in that direction, knowing that the soldier's attention was focussed towards the Dempos. The city was still dead, there was no one around.
There was a thoop sound.
"GET DOWN!" CB shouted as he rolled behind a car. Lyn ran in next to him.
A grenade created a crater nearby.
"They know we are here. Where now?"
Again the thoop. They both ran towards a small office building.
"Where are they coming from?" Lyn asked.
"I don't know!" CB said.
A familiar thud-thud sound came closer and closer. Another helicopter was back.
"We know who you are. We just want to speak to you. Surrender or die."
"Who are you?" CB shouted at the helicopter. No reply.
CB noticed a nearby MP5 and went to pick it up.
"If you value your lives you will place both hands on top of your head. Our soldiers have a cease fire order. It is no trouble to change that to a kill-on-sight." the helicopter speaker resonated.
CB and Lyn placed both hands on top of their heads.
"Come this way a few metres."
The helicopters blades started to slow down as it descended. Soldiers poured out of a building down the street. This was it. They were captured. The helicopter blades finally stopped and the pilot got out and took off his helmet.
"Just who I was looking for. My boss will be happy." said the pilot. "Get in."
CB and Lyn got in the back of the chopper with two soldiers each. The chopper flew off towards the highest tower.
They arrived there with their guard escort, hands tied behind their back with cable ties.
"One wrong move and I'll put a few bullets in you." said the pilot.
They walked down several flights of stairs until they got to a floor with just one room on it. In this room was a man, much older than CB and Lyn.
"Finally, I get to meet you two again. It's been so long." said the man.
