Essentially, Scott\'s plans were almost dead on for the general charges (as he said, he pretty much got them off another site), but we have the disadvantage of coming into the game late, with no players. We need every edge we can get... so we\'ll aim low, grab everything we can, and fill the first server damn near to capacity (I refuse... REFUSE to play the oversell game)... the profit on a full server, while keeping the second hard drive for nightly backups, will be about $200 (over the cost of the server). From this, we can decide on a second drive, or a second server and perhaps a readjustment of fees.

I don\'t want to be playing the oversell game either; I want us to have a reputation as a well-run, well-supported hosting company. I appreciate all of the work you\'re doing on the plans, I think we\'ll just fine with the variety we can offer at the prices we\'re listing. Only thing I don\'t understand is the gameserver part.....

The gameserver module is only active for resellers. Essentially, if someone were to rent a game slot, they would pay per user... we would then set them up with a \'reseller\' account, but limit them to a single domain and standard space limits (although a game install takes ~1gb of their space). From here, when they want to manage their gameserver, they simply log into their CPanel page, and make any changes they want.
We can also limit them to only being able to install certain games, or, being able to install several and have 1 or two running at a time (depending on a package they purchase).
But since right now, CPanel is still working on the error I am getting from the module, gameservers will come a little later... which is why I didn\'t bother to post a plan list for them yet.
Oh, there is also talk of someone coding a TeamSpeak plugin for CPanel as well... and Shoutcast.

Very nice jer

Only thing I\'m not sure about is the price/GB after the size ($3.40/GB, etc)...dunno whether that would just confuse customers or not.
I named the packages KH-2000 (3000, 5000...) relating to the MB of space each package has. You might want to use that for the levels...up to you. The problem is that 2000MB != 2GB - could look like we don\'t know much.

Still, looking purdy.

Yeah, I only included the price-per for our own references... something to help trim the plans to suit. Most people needing that kind of space would already know that a GB == 1024MB, and not 1000MB... I was merely ballparking it when I put that stuff in there, and rounding a GB to an even 1000mb.
On a side-note, you should see some of the complaints from newb hosting companies saying their control panels are broken because they create a \"1GB\" package for someone by adding 1000mb space, and the CP only reports 0.98 GB available.

I\'d say remove the price and change the name. If you do, you\'d also need to change 2GB, 3GB to 2000MB, 3000MB etc (sept not for bandwidth, that can stay). That way we\'re correct with the size and 2000 looks bigger than 2...hence it seems like the customer is getting more, when in fact they get less.
