Eye Colour In this tutorial I will show how I change the colour of eyes in photographs. This may not be the easiest way, but it\'s a way that works for me. This tutorial works fine on colour photographs, but I find black and white images much easier and more effective. Of course, it\'s up to you. Firstly, open the image you which to change in Photoshop. *If your image is colour and you wish to change it to black and white: Crtl + U and drop the Saturation level to zero. Create a new layer. Within this layer, select your paintbrush. Make sure the brush has 100% hardness. Select the colour you desire the eye(s) to be. Edit the Master Diameter (brush size), so that it is roughly the size of the eye. On the layer we created above, click the brush over the eye. You will have a coloured dot. Now; In the layers window, above the layers there is a drop-down menu. Here there is a list of Layer options. Out of the list of options, I have used Overlay on my sample image below. Depending on the photograph, and the effect you wish to gain, another option like Darken or Multiply may look better. If you can see part of the colour of the eye on surrounding parts of the eye/face where it shouldn’t be, zoom right in and select the smallest brush for the Eraser and erase the extra colour. And there you have it! Who needs coloured contacts when you have Photoshop? The limits of this tutorial are almost endless, these steps can be used on almost anything, challenge yourself. Heres my example: Please feel free to ask for assistance in this post about this tutorial! Endophyte endo@killanet.net Used this tutorial?
