I am pondering on dropping the following domains and changing them to tdl subs on killanet.

1. killawriters will become writers.killanet.net
2. killacode will become code.killanet.net
3. killadesign will become design.killanet.net

KillaHosting, KillaBlogs, KillaGraphix, KillaGaming, KillaNet, Digital Storm, Digital Youth and KillaNet Technology will be the only remaining domain names we hold. The unofficial domains are cauldron crafts and pagan reflections, both of which I still have yet to do anything with. One of these days I\'ll get ipb 1.3 and the other stuff installed on pagan reflections lmao...maybe....and I will be dropping cauldron crafts when it comes up for renewal in 2007. I don\'t have time nor the desire to design new patterns, and the ones which still sell can be sold from pagan reflections or just from market.killanet.net, it doesn\'t really matter to me.

This may seem like a step backwards, but it\'s really just a step towards better consolidation and saving 30.00 per year while implanting "killanet" in the minds of net users. KillaNet.net will become a true hub for everything else. Over the next few days, it will be necessary to see who is willing to put in the time and effort to finish everything off, and to get a firm commitment from them. We have scripts (like the features script Trinity wrote) which with some enhancements and improvements can be used for other things, I\'m sure. I\'m tired of feeling like we are just treading water, and I\'m sure all of you would like to see more advancement than what we have right now. Digital Storm will give us the opportunity to bring in more people; Gator is one such person. He is currently in journalism school, and he wants to be involved with DY and DS. I think it\'s time we look at coming up with some "standards" for staff status and go from there.

Domain changes sound good, not sure what will become of kc. I certainly don\'t have the time to build it.

Converge sounds like another feature which will take them ages to get out. Too many projects at once. Stupid IPS.

well KC can bring alot of users to KN, but with scott not having time and my limited php >.> and the damn time difference dont know when we will have time to work on it.

Yeah we did, but as some staff will be exiting stage left soon (like, when I take away their status) we need to be looking at what we want in a staff member. It\'s hard to ask too much considering nobody gets paid at this point in time. Of course, if some had realized that the potential to earn money was directly related to the completion and operation of the sites and programmes, we might be alot further ahead than we are, but we are where we are, and need to figure out a roadmap to get ahead.

I have a feeling code is not going to be a very big forum... Most people just search google for a code tutorial, read it, and be on their merry little way.

Umm.. I\'ll reply later as the virus scan I have to run thanks to my parents is hogging all my ram so when I type a word it appears 2 minutes later.

Staff Standards:

* Must be willing to work
* Must be online at least twice a week?

I\'m thinking that it\'s not too much to ask for 6 hours per week of productive time to assist with sites, content or tutorials etc.
