Deny it all you want, I know you\'re all waiting to get your grubby little fingers on Windows Vista when it hits the shelves (If it ever hits the shelves, might I add). Love it or hate it, personally I think im going to love it, and thats just going on appearances rather then speed and all that other techie mumbo-jumbo, although reading a few other articles on the types of system to get the best from Microsofts next operating system makes me turn a little green in the cheeks. Anywhoo, after dancing around zdnet I tripped apon a gallery of the new features (based apon the latest released beta build) so, take a look, I know you want to.

Things that got me excited:
The new logon screen, wahoo!
The new format/style of the start menus
Folder layout/style
All new icons, one thing I hate about XP is half the bloody icons are ugly 2000 style, blegh!

Theres bound to be more, but on dialup ill never get through all these images in one go so if i find anymore over the next year (the time that it will take me to view all 62 images) ill post again /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

Recent researching the latest builds show that Windows Vista will require at least 2GB memory to run the system (like while idle and stuff) Now if it\'s really meant to be great for gaming then how much ram will be required when games you have now require 2GB to run real smooth on highest settings? 4GB of RAM? ....I don\'t think I\'ll get it unless they fix that.

Yeah I read this on the earlier builds released for testing, but Microsoft finally posted their recommendations on what computers will need to run Vista Aero theme at best performance on a 1920 x 1200 monitor was 128MB. Obviously this is just to get the best from the theme (which does all that transparency and \'glitch free\' window redrawing and other fancy stuff) obviously for all the new games more is needed but it will run fine on lower RAM.
