Try this tutorial for you camo effect.

Tutorial 1

To get it into your text, follow the tutorial above, and then once you have your camoflauge effect get your text tool and write out on a new layerwhatever it is that your going to be using your camo on. Make sure your text is set to "Horizontal Type Mask". Do this by clicking and holding over the "T" for the text tool, and a sub menu will pop up where you can select "Horizontal Type Mask".

Now find a good patch of Camo and move your text over it. Now click back into your camo layer and keep your text selection and cut your camo by clicking Edit / Cut, or by using the Ctrl+X shortcut. Now paste by clicking Edit / Paste, or by using Ctrl+V and you should have yourself some camo text. Any problems with the above just let me know. Im not a tutorial writer so I dont know if its clear enough for you.

Ahhh, well spoted Dren, I didnt know we allready had one on here, Ive been away for KG for a while and only just got back to being a regular on here otherwise I would have pointed to the KG tutorial if I'd of known it was here. Plus, its allways nice to have a couple of options on technique.
