Painted Clouds

Meh, not sure if it\'s realistic as it\'s my own art work and I like a lot of stuff I do so it\'s up to you to tell me if this is a good method for making clouds... Just let me know by looking at the end result.

that looks pretty realistic. The only thing that makes it look more cartoonish is that its on a plain sky blue background. Im sure if you painted the cloud on an actual photo you wouldnt be able to tell that it was painted

agreed...the cloud itself looks good, but the sky is too uni-toned blue.

You could try using various shades of greys in areas as well to help give them a more rounded, oval feeling, it should also help give some depth to the clouds. Google cloud formations to get inspired.
