[url=\"http://www.loop.ph/bin/view/Loop/WebHome\"][b]Loop.pH[/b][/url] is a design and research studio that creates and develops new surfaces & structures in the built environment, conducts an extensive range of research activities and collaborates with industry. It is a multidisciplinary partnership set up in 2003 by Rachel Wingfield with artist Mathias Gmachl. Together we have fabricated reactive surfaces for a variety of environments, from the public to the domestic. Our work aims to provide a more intuitive understanding of our natural environment, from day-night cycles to energy sources. Research into the physiological effects of light and colour on the human body is also a strong component in our work.

These are some very interesting products, from solar powered window blinds which automatically adjust to a room\'s ambient light to a bedding set which slowly brightens to awaken the sleeper, much as a sunrise would do in a curtainless room. No snooze button though.
