Champions: Return To Arms wields new shots
It\'s gotta be a lucrative business, this dungeon building. Not only do you have a steady stream of interested tenants - and evil wizards always have more money than sense - but the dilapidated look is actually the main selling point. Take the nether-regions of Champions: Return To Arms for instance. Chock full of goblins, a roaring tourist trade in the hero sector... and with this hack\'n\'slash sequel (following on from Champions Of Norrath last year) it seems there\'s no shortage of new underworlds to invest in.
These new screens prove there\'s plenty more here, besides demonic real-estate. With two new race types for players to choose from - the reptilian looking Iksar Shaman and a tiger-man known as a Vah Shir Berserker - and enough newly forged weaponry to kit out the entire supporting cast of The Lord Of The Rings, Return To Arms expands immensely on its predecessor. Champions of the previous game will also be pleased to note that their veteran characters can be imported, with more experience levels to gain and a harder difficulty level to overcome. Plus four players can team up online or via a multitap for those blood soaked bonding sessions. We\'re tempering our armoured joypads in preparation, and we suggest you do the same...
