The PSP is certainly shaping up to be the handheld of choice for racing game fans. And fighting fans. And puzzle fans. And sports fans. And FPS fans. And ... anyway before we get too carried away, back on topic - our tyres are presently squealing over this brand new TOCA Race Driver 2 trailer (which of course, will be known locally as V8 Supercars 2) for the PSP!
V8 Supercars 2 is set to bring the most motorsports in any game to Sony\'s shiny new handheld, complete with real performance cars, real damage, real physics, and real driver AI that adapts to suit your level of racing expertise.
Destined to make a mockery of delayed trains and dentist waiting rooms around the world, V8 Supercars 2 will be providing portable gaming petrol heads with the most diverse range of insanely fast motor sports ever seen in one game, including GT Sports Car Racing, Street Racing, Rally, DTM, V8 Supercars, Global GT Lights, Rally Cross, Formula Ford, Open Wheel Grand Prix, Classic Car Racing, Super Truck racing, Stockcar Oval Racing, Ice-Racing, Convertible Racing, and Performance Cars.
With over 30 championships spanning the globe, from Chicago to Europe, and South Africa to Australia, you\'ll be tearing up the tarmac on 52 circuits, including Laguna Seca, Hockenheim, Surfers\' Paradise, Brands Hatch, Pikes Peak Motor Speedway and Kyalami.
An interactive storyline takes you through the championships and captures the competitive intrigue of 12 drivers battling their way to win the ultimate racing experience: a drive as a Masters Grand Prix professional.
Before you get that drive though, you\'ll need to beat the best racing in high-performance cars including Aston Martin (V12 Vanquish, DB9, DB7 and DB5), Jaguar (XJ220, XKR and E-Type), Ford (Mustang Cobra R, Ford GT, GT90, F150 Lightning Pick-up, Falcon BA), Holden Commodore VY, Mitsubishi 3000 GT, Mitsubishi EVO 7, Subaru Impreza WRX, ABT-Audi TT-R, Opel Astra V8 Coupe, AMG-Mercedes CLK, Koenig C62, Land Rover Bowler Wildcat, and the Nissan Skyline.
