Virus in restore file

I have a virus saved in one of my system restore points, and whenever i leave my PC idle, it detects the virus trying to run from the restore point, only one prob, as far as i know, the system restore files are completely invisible (except to maybe DOS) and when i scan to remove it doesnt actually DETECT anything.
Its not a real problem, its just annoying having a virus warning when i leave my PC idle.
Any ideas?

Delete the resotre point and make a new one /dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />

If your sys restore files are not hidden, AVG should clean them for you. Your sys restore files are in your root C drive in a folder named System Volume Information. Alternately, deleting that restore point *should* also fix the problem, as redrum stated.
If you don't see the folder:
Windows XP Professional and Home Edition - FAT32 File System
In Windows Explorer click Tools>>Folder Options
Click the View tab, click Show Hidden Files and Folders
Clear Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) check box.
Click Yes on the change confirmation box and click OK to exit.
Double-click the System Volume Information folder to open.
Windows XP Professional using the NTFS File System on a Workgroup or Standalone Computer
In Windows Explorer click Tools>>Folder Options
Click the [View] tab, click Show Hidden Files and Folders
Clear Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) check box.
Click Yes on the change confirmation box and click OK to exit.
Right-click the System Volume Information folder in the root folder.
Click Properties and select the Security tab. Click Add
Enter the name of the user you are allowing access to the folder.
Click OK, and then click OK.
Double-click the System Volume Information folder to open.

or just turn sys restore off, run in safe mode and youre on easy street. oh btw, scan in safe mode /blum.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

If its anything like mine, all i had to do was turn off sys restore, it deletes all the files from C:_RESTORE and its gone =)
