F.E.A.R.

Monolith, the company that has brought you such games as Tron 2.0, Aliens vs. Predator 2, and Condemned: Criminal Minds brings you F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon). The game seemlessly blends elements of an action movie and supernaturalism into one game. The game plays out more like a movie than a video game and you can easly get lost in it (probably scare the crap out of yourself too). While the "scary" elements are not that of what you can see (like Resident Evil or Clive Barkers Undying) but rather uses what you can't see to truely creep you out. I personally give this game a 9.8/10.
Pros: Insanely incredible graphics, and more of a "movie-goers script".
Definitly has an almost infinite replay value.
Cons: While the graphics are great, this demands a pretty good computer, even on minimum some computers are unable to handle it.
Updates and game sizes are rather large (4.83GB HDD Space and over 600mb for the initial game update)
I highly recomend this one who likes FPS's or things that are just plain creepy. It only cost me $50 for the special director's cut DVD, so the cost isn't insane. Now here are some in-game shots.
