Poser Character Library
This handy utility is aimed at any Poser user with a lot of character skin textures and head morphs in their runtime library. It can be difficult to tell how they will render from just the small program thumbnails, so this collection of reference images will assist you when looking for a suitable texture and/or morph for your character.
Quickly switch between the preset figure folders using the toolbar buttons, then browse the subfolders which contain sample renders of any built-in morph settings plus texture packs available.
Click on a file in the browsing pane and the image will automatically load into the preview window. The associated readme text will also automatically load into the bottom pane and provide you with additional useful information about the product file(s) or settings used.
The program comes with a selection of renders for many of the base figures available and more will be made available as add-on downloads in future. You can of course also store your own unique character previews in this program by rendering a sample image and saving it to the correct folder (along with a .txt file to record any information you may need as reference later).
Feature Overview
* Fast and easy to use with folder presets
* Handy reference library of sample renders
* Automatically load the preview images
* Automatically view associated text files
* Add your own custom renders and text
* Save time when looking for a character!
System Requirements
PC : Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP, plus Poser preview renders and readme.txt files.
Mac : Sorry, there is no Mac compatible version available at the moment.
Installation
Download the zip file and uncompress all the files to a suitable folder on your hard drive. Then create a shortcut to the IDbase.exe file and run it. To uninstall just delete the folder where you installed the program files to. Also delete the IDbase.ini file that has been automatically created in your Windows folder (this is where your settings are stored). Finally, remove any shortcuts that you have created manually for the program.
