Oh my gosh guys! (+ tami)
My case finally arrived today and I was so excited. The UPS guy probably thought I was insane rofl.

/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' /> He kind of looked at me funny when I opened the door to receive the package.
I do have one confusion though... I don\'t think I bought the dual core crap... But my dxdiag says \"2 CPUs\" and I also have 2 cpu monitor things in my task manager on the performance tab lol.. So maybe I do?? I don\'t know.. I didn\'t notice anything out of the ordinary in the case when I put all my parts in :\
Hmm.. Well anyway, Here\'s my dxdiag report.

/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' /> Yay!

Very nice computer. I wish I had more ram even though the current amount is enough

/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />
Anyway, with your processor, is it 2x 3.0Ghz, or 2 cores that add up to 3.0Ghz?
As for your confusion.... look it up on google. Just find out the manufacturer of your CPU, the model number(look it up on the box) and google it.

At the moment I don\'t care haha.. I\'m just drooling over the graphics in my games... ha

/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' /> I think this mobo can only hold 2gb of ram at one time though.

/cry.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' /> That kind of made me sad, but that\'s ok

/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' /> I think 2gb will be enough for at least a year or two.

Yeah, its nice to know that your computer can handle most of the stuff that\'s thrown at it. I know some of the games that I had, but was never able to play , even on the lowest setting due to the computer being so slow. The new computer runs them at the highest setting possible, and totally lag free.

/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
Don\'t exactly remember how much ram I can have, but I\'m pretty sure its quite a bit, which makes it easier to upgrade in the future, especially because I\'ve got 4 ram slots and ram these days, is quite cheap and I imagine will be even cheaper in the future.

mine can only handle 2gb i think... *checks* yeah, has two slots... guess i could get 2x2gb sticks. but theyre mondo expensive. oh well!

Yeah it says right on the mobo that it can have no more than 2GB of ram lol.. I doesn\'t care right now though

/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' /> Guild wars runs AMAZINGLY. I\'m maxed out on my graphic settings with AA set to 4X

/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' /> I pump out 30 FPS!
I really won\'t try to show off my pc after a while. I know how I felt when people flaunted their pc specs when I had my dinosaur. I\'ll just flaunt it for a week or so

/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> hehe.
just one question though, how come you aint running 1600*1200?
My monitor doesn\'t support that high of a resolution I don\'t think... I could try but I might end up screwing up the monitor lol

/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' /> Uh yeah I just tried and the monitor goes wacko!!!

Sorry Dren, I dont mean to put you down or aything or trying to make fun, but Im sure that when I bought tekken 1, about a week or two after the PS1 was released it was running at like 21-22 frames a second, and I know that seom normal abox games run at 36 frames a second. Why does it seem that technology in graphics and animations has moved on vastly, but not frame rates. And I say a again dren,Im not trying to take the micky, I know my Pc dosent plays games other than old'ish ones, I dont have a good graphics card or enough memory, my Pc is for computing so I use consoles for games. I suppose it could just be my own ignorance because I havent bought a PC Gamer (best UK gamer magazine to buy, in my opinion, incluidng the likes of both PS2, Xbox, and 360 mags, their reviews just give me the info I want on a game and help me to decide what to buy, even on cross format games) Surely Im wrong in thinking that games have NOT gone forward in their frame rates? Can anyone shine a light and help me, even if it is only to rest my wandering mind.
