Banner Competition Guidelines

Please follow these Basic Guidelines for the Banner Competition:
-open to all members, including staff
-entries can be 400x80 pixels up to 500x 100 pixels
[b]-entries will now be posted in the topic thread, no longer in the Gallery.[/b]
-themes and designs must be within forum guidelines, no nudity etc
-[b]winner will be decided by the polling system in the forum, once all of the banners are uploaded for the week, a poll containing all entries will be started in this forum area. Each member may vote once for the banner they feel should win.
-entries close 24 hours before the competition week ends. This is to allow time for voting.
-Poll voting will commence as soon as the new poll is posted, and will continue until midnight of the end date, at which time the voting will be closed and the winner announced.[/b]
-the winner will pick the next week\'s theme
-the winning banner will be placed in the header area of the forum
-a member cannot win two weeks in a row but may still enter the contest
-if the previous winning member does get enough votes to win, the banner with the second highest rated will be the winner
-banner to be in .gif format in order to keep the forum images consistent
-if there is a tie, a banner rotator will be used to display the winning banners
-weekly themes will be posted in this forum area
-Winners have 24 hours to pick a new theme; if this isn\'t done, the Administration will pick a theme for the coming week.
