the \"view new posts\" and \"today\'s active topics\" are all weird looking if there\'s ~3 rows there, don\'t know about more / less

i get this when i search for new posts...

It keeps logging me out. Which is weird because this site used to keep me logged in for weeks without having to have to re-enter my details. Well maybe not weeks but you get the point.

All the above should be fixed...?
