Revolution 3D Graphics Engine (freeware)

This engine is free for non-commercial and commercial use and provides an easy and fast accessible interface for 3D realtime applications, games etc using DirectX 9.0.

The project was started in 1998 by Simon Theophil and competed with the engine TrueVision3D.

Revolution3D can be used with C++, C#, Visual Basic, Java and Python.

§ 2A LICENSE

This EULA allows you to: (a) Install and use R3D for NON-COMMERCIAL and COMMERCIAL aim and use on one or more computers.

(d) In the event that you fail to comply with this EULA, you have to remove R3D from your system and may never use R3D in any way.

§ 2B LICENSE MODEL

R3D can be used freely for non-commercial use. If R3D is used for commercial use and/or aim you need to accomplish to the following conditions: (a) You must refer to R3D in an ASCII text file. This file has to be called Readme.txt and has to be placed at the root directory of the application. In this text file the following slogan has to be displayed visible to the reader: “This application is powered by the Revolution3D Graphics Engine – for more informations visit at [url=\"http://www.revolution3d.net”\"]http://www.revolution3d.net”[/url]

It has to be exclusively visible to the user for at least 3 (three) seconds continuously. The logo must have a minimum size of 128 pixels in width and 128 pixels in height and a minimum color depth of 16 bits per pixels. Some logos are provided in the R3D SDK which can be used for this purpose, as long as they fulfil the requirements above.

© You way want to print credits for R3D in the credits or about page in your application. This is optional and not required in order to fulfil the requirements of this EULA.
