Child in silence.
Child in dreams.
Nothing is real--
Nothing what it seems.

Child in mourning.
Child in grief.
Innocence stolen
By a trusted thief.

Child in torment.
Child in pain.
Joy lays murdered
Boy the son of Cain.

Child in anger.
Child in rage.
Strangling emotions
Setting life's stage.

Child in guilt.
Child in shame.
Hang your head low,
For you carry the blame.

Child in fear.
Child in dread.
Vigilantly awake
In your unsafe bed.

Child in want.
Child in need.
Soul so hungry,
But no one takes heed.

Child in hopelessness.
Child in despair.
Abandoned and helpless.
Who bothers to care?

In my opinion, Electrix, this is one of your best pieces yet. I see a huge improvement in style and punctuation as well. I am well impressed <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
