Bigpond Broadband

[color=\"green\"]ok, my family is thinking of purchasing bigpond broadband, but arent convinsed that it will be better/any different from Optusnet.

Im here asking you, whom have either; used bigpond broadband before, or are currently still using it. whats it like, speed? service? would you recommend it for verczeh? and most importantly, is it any good??

I was with optusnet prepaid dialup for a few months, and i was not impressed with the service but i assumed everyone was going through the same thing, i then switched to comindico (my current provider) and i realised that i was being ripped off significantly.

Although it has nothing to do with broadband i thought it worth mentioning. [/b][/i][/color][/font]

Im with bigpond broadband and find it slow, annoying, unreliable and it takes about an hour to get onto the helpdesk if there is a problem.

That said, the help once you get it is pretty good, and bigpond is certainly better than most other cable deals - its just that in general broadband in Aus sux0rs

Trin said all what I wouldve said. theyre ripping me off. im paying $90 a month for 512/128 unlimited usage on adsl broadband; whereas if cable was available here, I could get on a unlimited usage cable plan: uncapped/128 for $60 a month. RIP OFF!
