LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 15, 2004--The ChampionsWorld Series, a tour of top international soccer teams that sold out stadiums across America last year, will kick off its second edition on Saturday, July 24, and Fox Sports World will televise the entire 11-match series. Returning from last summer\'s inaugural tour are European powerhouses Manchester United, Glasgow Celtic, AC Milan and Barcelona, while teams making their ChampionsWorld debut this year include Chelsea and Liverpool of the Barclays English Premier League, Bayern Munich of Germany, AS Roma of Italy, Galatasaray of Turkey and 2003/2004 European Champions League winners FC Porto of Portugal. Manchester United, the world\'s most popular club, will play in three of the 11 matches in this year\'s series.


Cable and satellite systems across the country are offering a free preview of Fox Sports World to showcase the first three matches of the tour, including Celtic vs. Chelsea on Saturday, July 24; Manchester United vs. Bayern Munich on Sunday, July 25; and Celtic vs. Liverpool on Monday, July 26. Last year\'s inaugural ChampionsWorld Series was a resounding success. The seven-game tour was viewed by more than 420,000 fans during a two-week stretch. This year\'s tour has expanded to encompass 11 games and eight venues in the U.S. and Canada.

Fox Sports World\'s sister network, Fox Sports en Espanol, will offer live broadcasts of all 11 matches in Spanish.
