OK im posting this because i think everyones swayed a little lately. So many posts have been made by Ada asking for things to be made for downloads, tutorials etc; the response was great, but no action was actually taken. I think we manage to put to the back of our heads that Ada\'s actually paying for this; the sites arnt free to run, our webmail we use does cost money, our webspace isnt paid by the magical webspace paying fairys (though we wish). Yes, i know we all have outside lives which we cant help what may happen in them, but you all come on the net at one time or another..what are you doing when your \"bored\" in chat? Bored = doing nothing, so do something! Like i said, we all have our lives outside of this place, and with christmas near, and exams on it will be alot more hectic then usual for some.

So; post what your doing at the moement (whats related to KTN) ; if its nothing, post what you can do, we still need [b]downloads, e-cards, reviews[/b] and anything else i forgotten, these links may refresh your memory.

You\'re right Shane.. I can\'t see much getting accomplished. I\'m sorry that I haven\'t been contributing very much stuff. I\'m not trying to make up excuses but I\'ve been having a lot of things on my mind lately and I am trying to acheive a long term destination. (If that makes sense). I\'m also just found out my friend is trying to commit suicide and I really need to stop her.

The past couple weeks I\'ve been working with CSS with help from ner0 and some other staffers.. I am going to try and make some CSS templates for KillaBlogs if I can finally figure out how to place a footer..

In the background, I\'ve been working on KG some and I\'ve been working on a project in which I intend on selling to bring some money to me. Thanks to rift for all the live in person tutorials he gives me..

Since Thanksgiving holiday is tomorrow, school has given us a 4-day weekend. (5.5 if you count the half day out of school on Wednesday.) I am sure I can accomplish something then /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

Oh, about the CSS I am working on for KillaFonts, It\'s going to have to wait until someone shows me how to place the footer lol I\'m having a lot of troubles with it.. I\'ve already got some ideas at school on how I can do it (Pretty funny how I keep a notebook of idea\'s I get for anything and everything here for KG /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />, I\'ll have to introduce some of them to you some time tami /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />)

It is true i do have an outside life, which is why im rarely in the chatroom talking, but simply in there sitting. I didnt even know there was that list, it's nice to see that now, i had been away for a little while. As far as my computing is going i am playing the arcade off and on, but a lot of the time im talking with josh and he is always working on something to help toward the forum. As for my programming, im usualy working on my personal commercial software, and thanks to adaera's reminder im continuing to work on a font reader/screen shot taking thing. Also i happily purchased webspace and e-mail from the forum which i could have done somewhere else but would really rather not since i like to know the money goes toward the people here. Silent as i might be i am trying to help out where possible. I dont mean the post to be directed as some sort of recoil toward the previous post, but just an update as to why i havent helped <strike> out any list items.

I don't really need to say any more than "Women, ex-girlfriends and current girlfriends" to explain why i'm not around much (they do my 'cking head in!).

Any time I do get to myself is usually spent playing games or working on clan website which atm is keeping me occupied. Since I lost the net for those few weeks and got my new connection, i've had a really low drive to do graphics. Designers block or something..

I appreciate all that\'s getting done, it\'s just that we\'re approaching a time when we need to get better organized and operational. We\'ll be adding a project manager script in the very near future to better keep track of everything that is going on, but it really does take ALL of us to keep this place running, and when the time comes we will all be able to reap the benefits. So please, if you\'ve said you\'ll work on an area or a project, stick with it and follow through. We are all highly creative people in our own ways, we are diverse in talents and interests, which makes us such a great \"team\" (still hate that word) to be a part of. We\'re going to go through some growing pains and time constraints, that\'s part of life-the important thing is that we stick together and work with each other and the experience & opportunities we all want. As I\'ve said to a few others today, this network was made to give you all a chance to learn & share & maybe make some money in the near future and have a nifty place to work for those who choose to venture out into the real world with KN/KG etc. I am not a coder, a programmer, nor even really a graphics person, although I try hard and will do what I can. I am an ideas person, a marketer, a promoter. That is where my talents are, and when I worked in that field I was the happiest I\'ve ever been. Unfortunately the jealousies of Mike\'s dad forced me out of that career, and I am now stuck in one I despise. With KN, I have a chance to get that back, and to be happy with people I care a great deal about. We could have an awesome, borderless, boundless future with the KN sites & projects; we just have to get through the difficulties facing each of us as individuals and as a group right now, but the future can be ours.

I have this idea in my head, not sure how good it is, lol.
To have a spot on the ecards page that tells what special day it is, or maybe what specials days there are that week, so that people come back to see whats new more often. By special days I mean stuff like Oct 11 is national pizza day, etc.
I was hoping to nominate some volunteers to take 1 month and find things for each day and add a short blurb on history or trivia facts about that day. Then have the scripters make me a lil script that will display the relevant days(and tell me how to put all the volunteers\' info into a data base to go with it)

I think that idea is a great one.. Just maybe somewhere on ecards \'Upcoming Holidays: National Pizza Day ~ Oct. 11!\' or something like that

well i completed a very simple tutorial today, ziped it and it will be added to my site very soon, which in turn will be added to killagraphix\'s tutorials.

Its in an .avi format, lol writing tutorials can be really annoying plus it also minimises people asking how to do what as its directly shown to them, might be a bit slow as in not many frames per second, but its fast enough /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

lol, i think i\'ll become lazy and jsut do every tutorial in avi mode. /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

It is a good idea, pity we couldnt just nick MSN\'s encarta\'s \"this day in history\" which is the same thing, but i think its a good idea.

We have certainly came a long way since that list was first posted, but I\'ll agree we have a way to go. I\'m really happy to see KB and KH now live, KF, CC & KN soon to follow and the forum very much grown, especially breaking that 200 milestone we set way back in GG. I agree with everything shane has said above and I hope everyone will take it aboard and that this doesn\'t become another one of \"those\" threads. Hopefully we\'ll see some more sites live very soon /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

I didn\'t really do a lot for the site but I\'ve written a few tutorials made a banner for hosting thingie and try to do as much as I can.

Problem is I\'m in my final year of uni so I have quite a lot to do.

I always try to do something now and then but sometimes it\'s just not possible.

well i found my username so yay!
one of the things i noticed on the formidable list is that everyone is to have a clearly defined role, or at least know what their function is and tasks are. i havent been assigned any - yea yea, i know thats asking for some!- and part of the reason is i havent got a clue when it comes to coding, i know it would take me forever to learn flash etc, so ive mainly stuck to the graphics side. after finally getting photoshop im now able to come up with more designs and hopefully, after a few more tries at tutorials i hope to post my own soon. there are plenty of tutorials ive followed with good results, so ive posted them in the forensics labs so others might try them out. i'm also constantly nagging rift about getting around to making a game for the arcade. i have tried making some ecards but so far the results have been less than promising. i am still trying though and like i said before, am more than happy to try and research a national day - i'll sit down with photoshop with that in mind, pick a day and make a card for it - that task would certainly keep me busy, there are never enough days in the year, but i imagine making a card for each of them will be a big job lol
