I can sympathize with your situation Josh, between work (ie. the regular day job), work (ie. construction side jobs) and family life, at times I can barely find time to read threads in this forum. In fact, at times a month may go bye and my computer never gets turned on once. However, I know how much you love programming, so like me you will always get back into it when you can.

School is important and you are very smart. It took me years (I failed grade 10 three times ... too busy chasing chics..hehehe) to come to the conclusion that the best way to deal with school is to put all your effort into it and ace everything.... it\'s not forever and in the long run you\'ll be better off for it. When I finally got on track in school (grade 11) I ended up being top of my class in English, Physics and Biology and it was a great feeling.

Three things I\'ve found helpful when dealing with school:
[b]1)[/b] It\'s never too late to turn your situation around
[b]2)[/b] School is not forever
[b]3)[/b] Remember that you\'re smart and that school gives you the opportunity to show the rest of the world just how smart you are

And in your situation I\'d add a forth one
[b]4)[/b] School can only contribute to your programming\design abilities

I also think that things like throwing teachers\' car keys out the window can be helpful in having a little fun along the way and helping to deal with the stress of school.
