Explanation

When the day after tomorrow is yesterday, today will be as far from Wednesday as today was from Wednesday when the day before yesterday was tomorrow. What is the day after this day?

day after tomorrow is yesterday = today

today will be as far from Wednesday as today was from Wednesday when the day before yesterday was tomorrow (used to confused you - which worked for 5 mins b4 i looked at the next bit)

if "this day" means wednesday then the day after 'this day' is thursday? lol

Rift you are correct! .... the answer is Thursday. However, I\'m not sure but I think you may have made a lucky assumption by assuming \"this day\" was Wednesday.

Here\'s the logic:

First set up all days of the week in such a structure.... hmm... I need columns
okay, forget trying to explain it in here.... one sec
Okay I\'m back and have [url=\"http://members.shaw.ca/flyingdoggyjake/DayTeaser.html\"]made a web page to explain it[/url].

The real confusion in this one is the different instances in time referred to in the use of the word today. As you can see Mr_S was correct when he said tomorrow, but that was a little too easy. Mr_S also made the important connection that \"This day\" refers to \"Today\" when \"today\" refers to the present.

Anyway, way to go Rift! ..... Looks like it\'s your turn.

actualy that is wrong it's not 9, 9, 9, 9 it's only 9 9 9 9 and since that was a funny attempt but wrong even in technicality ill be more descriptive:P... it's a valid mathmatical statement using four nines that make it sum up to one hundred lol
