Banner/background/another background ....

well I tryed making a banner a background and another table background for my site. I looked at it and went <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... nnoyed.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':angry:\' /> so I\'m asking for help. you odn\'t have to do all of them just pick one. if someone else wants to do a part whatever.... I just need atleast on of them done. You will get credit on my site. I want something with light blues and dark blues. nothing that will make it too dark, needs to be moderate on the color nothin WOW THATS BRIGHT or JEEZE THATS DARK...if you get my drift. Its for a TaeKwonDo Club so it has to do with martial arts if that helps you designers and the banner would have TaeKwonDo Fitness Center written on it very visible because it is the top banner of the site. If you feel like you can do this PLEASE DO! so I don\'t go <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... nnoyed.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':angry:\' /> anymore and start going <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... #>/bow.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(bow)\' />

Please post the sizes you want for it and other things that need to be on.

well nothing else needs to be on it except TaeKwonDo Fitness Center for the banner. the page background should be more simple than the table background. the table background will go over the page backround.... layered I\'ll set that mess up I just need the images. The page background can be somethin small that its tiled or whatever you relaly want...your making it you decide...just remeber that is light. the table background needs to bebigger ... like 1200x1000 would cover it for sure so around that area... I\'m tryin to to have this part tiled if possible, unless its somethin that works well with a tile and you can\'t really tell... the top banner itself would have to be about 700x130. remember this has TaeKwonDo Fitness Center written on it. banner size changed from 620x130 to 700x130

a small tileable image is always best for a bg of that size, kentie-an image for your background at the size specified would kill dial up users.

if you want to use a tiled bg image, which can be repeated on the x/y axes.. just make a pretty small image, ie. 800x1px, then use css as follows:

body {
background-image: url(\"images/blah.jpg\");
background-attachment: fixed;
background-repeat: repeat-y;
height: 100%;
}

that -should- work fine if you want the image repeated along the y axis, if you want the image repeated on the \'x\', just change the background-repeat attribute to repeat-x...

well you people know this stuff best .... I\'m a noob <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /knife.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(knife)\' /> so really it\'s whatever is best. I jus don\'t have the tallent to make one of these and make it look good. so If thats what one of you want to do, That\'s fine ...I\'m by far VERY FLEXABLE with anything ...I\'m open to anything you wanta do...I just can\'t do it myself lol
