Beautiful

You finally go your way,
Even though you didn't have much to say;
When you pinned my hands above my head,
I remember every word that you said.
"I'll get you to believe me someday,
Even if this is the only way"
Then you started to carve it into my chest,
You had already finished the B and E,
To the word that "perfectly" described me;
When you finished up the U and the L,
I saw you fall back into hell..
And then you saw me wince and bite my lip;
But that's when you started to slip,
You knew I would never understand,
And that's when the blade dropped from your hand.
Then you slowly began to cry,
For a brief moment you wanted to die,
Because you had to sit and watch me bleed;
You thought it was something I would need,
But you had already carved it into my skin,
That was your first taste of blissful sin.
But it broke your heart to see me in pain,
It was your choice to drive yourself insane,
I knew you never wanted to hurt me,
You just wanted me to see;
That hiding my beauty was such a crime,
But now I have the scars to last me all of time...
