Photochopped Audi A3

hello. i'll mainly be posting virtuall cars untill i'll learn what you guys are doing, if that is cool. there are two ways of photochopping, cut and paste (C&P) or brushing, which is where you design your own parts. i do a bit of as i'm not very advanced but hope to improve with ideas and feedback from you all.

mods so far:
wide arches
enlarged tyres
new rims
new grille
redesigned front bumper, still need to make a vent on the other side so i can add intercooler
carbon fibre (CF) hood
vents on the side of hood
bonnet clips
lowered side skirt


if there is anything you want or see the i can fix up, dont hesitate to tell me or ask.
and ignore those to yellow lines, there just guidelines. also remember this is a work in progress. /biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />

Looks pretty smart.. but I hate it when people massacre the bonet like that! It's so common in car mod images now. Also, I think you made the tyres too big, I swear that rear arch is rubbing /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

[b][i][color=\"gray\"][font=\"tahoma\"]It's a carbon fibre bonnet, and it's common on street racing cars and photochops of them these days because anyone serious about weight reduction use them. They are extremely light.

As for the image, i agree with spec on the back wheel to a degree, maybe an extra 1/2 inch (real life figures). Apart from that it looks great so far, can't wait to see the finished product /biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />. [/b][/i][/color][/font]

i also think the camber of the rear wheel isnt right...

not sure about the front wheel arch aswell, it looks great..but there doesnt appear to be enough clearance /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

maybe you could add a new lightkit to it?? that would be sweet /biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' /> and perhaps you could extend the front bumper down..so its more level with the side skirts..maybe some mesh grills too? /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> ...just what i think it needs to be perfect, instead of great /good.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(Y)\' /> [/color]

i was thinking of adding a CF lip and mesh will be coming when i put intercooler. /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' /> what a lightkit? also do the bonnet clips look real. i'm having second thoughts about that.

hey does anyone know how to create the surface that car is on? if they do, could they please show as i want to my car on it so i can reflect it.

also i did do a small headlight change but it doesnt look any better /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

good job, not to \"flame\" you, but when you mod a car change all teh visible tires.. the driver side front tire is still \"stock\" but overall good job

no that is a good point us3rX. i have tried to fix it but as you can see it didnt go to wheel. hope to finish it later. finished the front bumper. added intercooler and mesh is coming soon. fixed the mesh in the grille. made the back wheel smaller and fixed the camber up a little bit. decided to leave the front though. going to change colour as well.

i also need an opinion. you can see my little CF thing at the bottom with the struts( or whatever). need to know if it look completely fake, ok, or good. and also how i could maybe fix it.

And the drivers wheel kinda stops abruptly lol. Unless theres only half a tyre on there /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />. [/b][/i][/color][/font]

yeah i stopped doing the tyre and i also got rid of the CF thoing. just going to extend the bumper. i think intercooler looks pretty good though.

does anyone have that background? /help.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'(help)\' />

ok bit of an update. got rid of the CF splitter at the front. continued with the wideboy design on the side skirt and made that CF and also added air intake there. not sure how useful in real life that would be though. /blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> add the mesh on the front vents and still thinking of a design for the front bumper. still have to finish the front right (from our view) tyre. going to change the colour but not sure what to. i was think maybe a metallic purple to go with wheels.

also does anyone know how to [u]make[/u] the floor background that i want. thanks.
