New project i'm working on, i know it doesn't look fancy. But i did this by head from a tut i read like 2-3 months ago. If anybody know how i can make the surface smoother and make light beams 'come out' of the orb to the text. Pls enlighten me

well I don\'t know what you mean when talking about the light, but to make it more smooth increase the spheres segments I believe.
Click Sphere
In the \"Attributes\" window (Default lower right window) increase the segments
I did some testing with this theory and it didn\'t really work as I planned. It always rendered the sphere as smooth as possible. It might be in your render settings. Make sure your anti-aliasing is set to it\'s best and try a render.
Hope this helps somewhat

Won\'t help a tick, Cinema always renders a sphere as perfect if you check the little thingie in the Sphere menu.
It has something to do with the glow of your material or luminance. And don\'t apply too many things in your material editor because you can get that effect by using 2-3 menu\'s

Problem might be in the fact that you made the sphere editable just noticed that today
