Lighting setups.

Post by Tibs »

When you are working in 3d one of the key elements to get a scene great is the lighting. I will try to show you a few methods on, how to achieve good lighting to fit your scene.

- 3-point lighting: http://www.andrew-whitehurst.net/3point.html

- HDRI :

c4d : http://www.maxoncomputer.com/tutorial_deta...ialID=241&site=

- clay render : this is a type of render that is easily gotten in c4d by just adding a floor and a sky object. Be sure to place radiosity to stochatsic and switch of the auto light in options.

These are a few diffirent types of lighting explained very shortly. You need to choose a setup too match your scene. You can\'t always use HDRI ;-)
