The AdminTool :: What is it?!
The AdminTool (AT) is a "snapshot viewer" of the current state of your Flash application without impacting the performance or the file size of your application.

Well, it was a whirl wind experience that spaned 2.5 weeks, countless hours and one admintool. Lucas Arts had a an insane deadline as it had to coincide with media/marketing timing and efforts. Truth be told, we delivered 4 days late. It should have been 3 weeks late! With over 9000 lines of code, hundreds of art assets, hundreds of lines of copy and 3D assets to animate, we pulled off a miracle in 2.5 weeks. The AdminTool prooved it's metal and then some.

We took a site that was running at 10-12 fps a week before launch, to a full 28-30 fps (IN THE WEB BROWER, NOT JUST THE PLAYER) using optimization techniques with the AdminTool.
