Web Historian [freeware]

Post by Tami »

Web Historian assists users in reviewing Web sites (URLs) that are stored in the history files of the most commonly used browsers including: Microsoft's Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape, Opera and Safari. Red Cliff Web Historian is designed primarily as a tool for computer forensic examiners; however, it is simple, intuitive and quite useful for any person who simply wants to review the browser history files on any given system. Web Historian allows a user to determine what Web sites have been visited; what Web-based e-mail systems have been accessed; and if a system has connected to an unauthorized Web site.

Version 1.1 adds directory names to the cache file paths.

Minimum requirements: Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003 Server
