I think its an awesome idea, and I like the look of rob\'s... although the iframe doesn\'t work in my browser, could be anything but just incase ya wanted to know my browser is galeon <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />
'class KPIM::ProcessManager' only defines private constructors and has no friends <- :( poor class

Well the iframe was only for an example, so you could see what it looks like with one of our sites below it <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

Fixed as in, if it was there all the time? I don't see why it would, it's just a quicker way to sift through your bookmarks.

Maybe put the staff site on there too? Might interest some bored people to just look at a random link with info about us.

One thing I've noticed when scrolling down is there seems to be a 1pix gap at the top of it so you can see what's behind it (right now I can see the grey of the forum), and it would probably look better if it was 100% width. But I dunno if that's a problem with IPB's wrapper.

good observation, Rob...I didn\'t notice the pixel until you pointed it out. One question (not being picky) can the bar be made thinner? I think iNet\'s is a bit thinner--doesn\'t matter to me one way or the other, just wondering.

Good point on the staff page too, Rob; I still need to update it and remove some people from it & add some people ... of course the whole page needs to be redone but I\'ll get to that when I\'m finished playing with other sites. At the rate I\'m succeeding with writer\'s it\'ll be sometime next year so don\'t hold your breath. <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... >/blum.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' />

It can be made smaller if you like, but it'd be a matter of 1 or 2 pixels. I don't think it'd make so much of a difference, but on the lower resolutions it may do. I'd change res and test it, but that'd mean having to rearrange my desktop icons when I change back <img src=\'http://www.killanet.net/forum3/public/s ... #>/cry.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />

don\'t you hate when that happens? most of my desktop icons are in folders because I use quicklaunch instead, I rarely even see my desktop 0.o

The 1px gap I can get rid of, just put that in to ensure it was at the top. The 100% width is a problem, the ipb wrapper is currently sent to 98% and if I make the topbar any wider then we get horizontal scrolls. I originally had it out of the wrapper but the entire body has a text-align: center set to it which fooks the topbar up in MSIE.

One possible solution would be to make an entirely new wrapper for the topbar...might try that shortly.
